Butcher - Beef Processing
Organic beef company in northwest Nebraska searching for multiple production workers to join their Beef Processing team. IIn this role you will harvest and/or debone beef, cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal, clean materials to prepare them for production, process animal carcasses. Most work will be conveyor lines, performing a few of the many cuts needed to process a carcass, cut meat products, and process animal carcasses. Ideally, 2 years of experience cutting carcass beef on a conveyor line. Will consider 2 years of experience using knife skills in a commercial environment. Experience can come from retail, butcher shop, food industry, vegetable industry, etc. Anywhere knives are used. Relocation allowance, retention bonus after 6 months, housing provided free for 6 months.

Oversea the daily operations of a processing facility, including processing and grading Labs, to check the quality and food safety at each step on the process, receiving through shipping. Train others in lab methods and procedures and use of tests. Must have experience working in quality within the FDA regulated food industry.
